The Village of Roslyn is a quaint historic village that took shape on September 7th, 1844. In 1895 at the junction of Main Street and Old Northern, Roslyn’s most identifiable landmark, the Ellen J. Ward Memorial Clock Tower was built. Sixty plus years later Roslyn was introduced to The Jolly Fisherman & Steak House. Opened by the Scheiner family in 1957, the goal was simple, fresh homemade seafood, excellent service, and a great ambiance.
It’s been 55 plus years and 3 generations later, The Jolly Fisherman & Steak House has become a historic staple of the Village of Roslyn. The Roslyn Duck Pond and Silver Lake are gorgeous views that can be observed while you take in Long Island’s best seafood.
