History Of The Jolly Fisherman

The Village of Roslyn is a quaint historic village that took shape on September 7th, 1844. In 1895 at the junction of Main Street and Old Northern, Roslyn’s most identifiable landmark, the Ellen J. Ward Memorial Clock Tower was built. Sixty plus years later Roslyn was introduced to The Jolly Fisherman & Steak House. Opened by the Scheiner family in 1957, the goal was simple, fresh homemade seafood, excellent service, and a great ambiance.

Testimonials

"A mainstay in Roslyn for over 50 years. For the old timers, part of the charm is that the decor never changes and the food is consistently excellent. Don't miss the special house salad, which is a choice with your entree...no extra charge but extra delicious. Hot fudge is a must, even if you have to order the ice cream cake or sundae to put it on!"
